Yahoo Listing Finally Appears

This is my 3rd and final posting, on how long it takes Google to recognize my $299US Yahoo Directory Listing. After nearly 30 days, Google finally recognized the Yahoo Listing. As I said in my last post it took less than a week for both Business.com and HotFrog.ca by comparison at $299US and Free to put that into perspective.

I guess I should not be overly critical of how long it took to get this listing setup and recognized, DMOZ the open directory project is 3 months and still counting with no sign that the listing will ever materialize.

With all my link building efforts over that last 3 months, I have to say that niche industry directories, On-line press release distribution sites and social media connections have generated the most rapid recognition from Google and where I will continue to focus my efforts.

DESIGN

In the design stage we get you crystal clear about who you are, whom you serve, what problem you solve, what your competitive positioning is and how you intend to grow sales profitably. The Being Profitable Program is the centre post of this stage.

BUILD

The build stage is about putting the sales and marketing infrastructure in place. Websites, videos, displays, CRM, e-commerce, web analytics and social media tools like Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube, Blogs and Stumble Upon are key structural components.

GROW

In the grow stage, we shift our focus to growing sales and developing website traffic. Search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media and public relations play key roles in this stage along with web analytics and sales performance optimization.
